Music with Meg

Hey y’all. So I’ve literally been staring at my computer screen for like 20 minutes trying to find something fantabulous to write about which is weird because I usually have so much to write, but no time to do it. And now I’ve got all this time at work, and nothing to write about. BUT as I was racking my brain for a good topic, a real home run, I realized I was thinking too hard (which I’m doing like 99% of time). SO I’m going to keep this blog post pretty simple tonight. I’ve recently purchased Spotify Premium (best freakin’ decision ever), so I’m going to share with you some of my favorite tunes I’ve been jammin’ out to (or mellowin’ out to depending on the song, obvi). I’m also considering making this kind of post like a monthly (maybe weekly?) thing in 2015. Like this post if you’d like to see more of ‘Music with Meg’ in the future. Realizing how cheesy that sounds, but like… oh whale. On to the tunes!

1. I’ve Given Up on You – Real Friends

The lyrics of this song… I’m obsessed.

2. Take Me Home – Us the Duo

Their voices give me the feeeeels, man.

3. Royals – Youth in Revolt

Best version of Royals I’ve ever heard. I love all of the songs off of this Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6 Album.

4. Easy Enough (acoustic version) – State Champs

I just recently discovered State Champs, and uhhhhhhhhmiminlove.

5. Something in the Water – Carrie Underwood

So this song might go down in history as my all time favorite song. It was a life changer.

That’s all I’ve got for now. I hope you all had a blessed holiday and have a great new year! Let me know which of the five songs is your favorite in the comments down below!

Until next year…

xo,

Megan LouAnn
